Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Rohometric (“the Service”), operated by Rohometric (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

2. What the Service does

Rohometric lets you upload financial and operational data, computes KPIs deterministically, and generates AI-powered summaries of those KPIs. The AI explains pre-calculated numbers — it does not produce financial calculations of its own.

3. Your data

You own everything you upload. We claim no intellectual property rights over your business data. We process it only to provide the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload data you do not have the right to process.
• Attempt to access another user’s data or circumvent access controls.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or programmatically extract data from the Service beyond the provided APIs.
• Intentionally overload the Service or interfere with its operation.

5. AI-generated content

AI summaries, action plans, and “Ask Your Data” responses are generated by a large language model and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying any AI output before acting on it.

6. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. Support is available via email.

7. Fees and billing

The Service is currently available at no cost. If we introduce paid plans we will give at least 30 days’ notice and your existing data will remain accessible on the free tier during the transition period.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rohometric is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of India.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
